5 Root Tea
This is twist on a tea blend I have been making for many years and have shared with friends and clients who frequently tell me they still are drinkin that tea years later! Sooooo.....I decided to make some for ya'll! This is a small batch to start- see if it clicks for you! If it does, feel free to send back your tin and I will refill with loose tea. I've packed up 3 musilin tea backs with roots inside. You can keep and reuse these muslin bags for your next batch :)
The twist comes from the state of now. As we move into the winter season, I like to drink root tea as a rich grounding experience. This also is detoxifying and cleansing for the liver. I have added 2 new roots to this blend for added alleviation for the nervous system. As we sit with all in the world that seems beyond our control, anxiety and depression may arise. This is why TEA has been a huge part of my life since I can remember. No...I have not been trained by a professional tea guru...(that would be cool some day) but rather it is a part of my practice that keeps me grounded in the moment, finding warmth, flavor, and comfort for the duration of the experience. The real medicinal qualities found within these roots will elevate these feelings. The root mixture was made with intention and prayer for healing and grounding.
Tea to be drank however you'd like or in ritual with the intention to slow down and become present with whatever is coming up. Invite in the medicine to any areas of tenderness or tension, slow down, listen.
